Hours & Insurance


The Business office hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Appointments are available days and limited evenings, Monday through Friday. Our offices are located in Salem and we serve the greater mid-Willamette Valley area.

Insurance Coverage

As a courtesy to our clients, we will verify and bill insurance companies for the services received at New Perspectives.

  • Though we try to verify your benefits before your first visit, be aware that information about your coverage is not a guarantee of payment.  You should also call and verify coverage prior to starting services.
  • If your insurance plan requires it, please obtain pre-authorization before your first visit.
  • The co-pay printed on your insurance card might NOT be the correct one for MENTAL HEALTH services.  Unfortunately, mental health treatment is not always regarded as general health care and may fall under specialist care.
  • Some plans only pay for a limited number of outpatient visits.
  • You are responsible for your co-payment and any deductibles.  If you receive payment directly from your insurance company, you will be responsible for payment to New Perspectives Center.

New Perspectives Providers are participating providers on several insurance company panels.  They include but are not limited to:

  • Lifewise
  • MODA
  • PacificSource
  • Providence
  •  BlueCross/ BlueShield of Oregon
  • MHN
  • United Behavioral Health
  • Willamette Valley Community Health (WVCH)
  • Oregon Health Plan


*  Not all providers are participating on all insurance companies.  If you are referred to a new or additional provider at our agency, please make sure they are on your insurance panel.  The front desk staff can help you to determine who is on what panel.

On June 11th, our current electronic health system will transition to a new and advanced system to better serve you: Athena. Prior to the transition date, you will be sent a registration link to create a new patient account in Athena. If you have any immediate questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact your therapist, or call our office to speak to a staff member.
